How it works
Book a reward flight with Avios and a second person can travel with you on the same booking for no extra Avios, in any cabin, including business. You still pay taxes and charges for both passengers.
Why it's so good on long-haul
BA Reward Flight Saver caps the cash part on BA-operated flights (not First). On London to New York in Club World that's around £499 return per person, so two lie-flat seats cost one person's Avios plus the taxes for two.
Watch out for
- The card has an annual fee, so only take it if your normal spending will reach the target.
- Always pay the balance in full: interest wipes out any points value.
- Book early: reward seats go fast.
